Profile
Raja Noor Syuhada bte Raja Khairuddin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Multimedia University in 2016. Raja Noor Syuhada started her pupillage at Messrs. Cheang & Ariff + Chooi & Company (formerly known as Messrs. Cheang & Ariff). She was called to the Bar on 6 October 2017 and joined the esteemed firm of Messrs. Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill, where she handled Construction Law matters. The working environment at the firm was under intense pressure with tight deadlines, which she had enjoyed tremendously.
Thereafter, Raja Noor Syuhada ventured into Family Law at Messrs. Tan Law Practice, where she was involved in various family law matters, including but not limited to divorce and child custody matters. After joining Malaysia Airlines Berhad in 2018, Raja Noor Syuhada was attached to Messrs. Aru & Co, practising general litigation in 2019. Raja Noor Syuhada joined Messrs. Shahir Khubayb & Co in October 2020 and became a senior associate in January 2023.
Raja Noor Syuhada is currently attached to the Firm’s corporate and commercial practice, litigation, and industrial relations practice. She handles various legal matters, from corporate and commercial to industrial relations and dispute resolution. She also provides non-litigious advice and drafts various agreements for clients.
She believes that hard work, determination, and a positive mindset are the key to success in everything she does. It excites her always to gain experience and knowledge in each matter that she is involved in. She is fearless in taking up the challenges that come along with the matters that she handles. With the guidance and mentorship of the Partners, her experience in a wide array of legal matters and areas of the law has shaped and groomed her to be a skilful and versatile advocate and solicitor; as the saying goes, “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one”.

Commercial Transactions
▪ Assisted in the drafting and reviewing of engineering, procurement, construction, and finance agreements worth RM 410 million for a development project in Perlis
▪ Prepared and reviewed various agreements, including shareholders, service, cooperation, and teaming agreements for a weapons manufacturer company.
▪ Prepared and reviewed service agreements for state-owned companies, particularly in the telecommunications and tourism industries.
▪ Prepared and reviewed various agreements with and for federal governments and governmental agencies, particularly in relation to national cyber security management.
▪ Prepared and reviewed transportation agreements, collaboration agreements, tenancy agreements, logistics agreements, equipment leases, independent contractor agreements, endorsement agreements, influencer agreements, licensing agreements for various companies in the arts, fashion and entertainment industries and liaising with the counterparties from multinational countries such as United Kingdom, United States and China.
▪ Prepared and reviewed a wide range of agreements for various companies in the Arts, Fashion and Entertainment Industries, co-operative societies, and state-owned Companies.

Mergers and Acquisitions
▪ Acquisition of Shares worth RM 3 million in a waste management company
▪ Acquisition of Shares worth RM 14.5 million involving two pieces of land in Perak

▪ Assisted with due diligence exercises for the acquisition of shares

▪ Represented claimants in the Industrial Court for constructive dismissal claims
▪ Successfully obtained an award in opposing a joinder of party application
▪ Advised on employment-related matters including but not limited to disciplinary proceedings, misconduct, termination and the amendments to the Employment Act 1955
▪ Prepared and reviewed the remote working policies, employee handbook and employment policies for various companies involving logistic industries, arts, fashion and entertainment industries and weapons manufacturing industries

Dispute Resolution
▪ Appeared and handled Trials for breach of contract matters as the Lead Counsel at Malaysian Courts.
▪ Appeared and assisted the Partners as Co-Counsel for Trials and Hearings at Malaysian Courts involving various areas of the law, such as judicial review applications, employment disputes, contractual disputes, and commercial disputes.
▪ Appeared for execution proceedings applications such as bankruptcy, garnishee, and judgment debtor summons applications.
▪ Appeared in Court for a watching brief on behalf of the victim and family members of the victim for a sexual offence against a child.
▪ Assisted in the preparation of Trials and Hearings at Malaysian Courts.
▪ Drafted pleadings, interlocutory applications and written submissions involving various areas of the law, such as summary judgment applications, striking out applications, specific performance of contract and breach of contract.
▪ Assisted in preparing the Appeals for various disputes at Malaysian Courts.
▪ Drafted legal opinions involving various areas of the law.
▪ Assisted in crafting and formulating ideas and strategies with the Partners for the clients.
On top of her experience above, she also believes that a law is valuable, not because it is a law, but because there is a right in it. After all her hard work during the weekdays, she finds solace by having good food, pampering herself during the weekends, and spending some good time with her loyal companion, her cat.
